SHS systems are built to deliver a prepared extinguishing agent into the protected area, so the essential pieces are how the agent is stored, routed, discharged, and released. Storage provides the actual agent supply, piping forms the network that carries it to the protected zones, nozzles control where and how the agent exits into the space, and actuators are the release devices that actually discharge the agent when the system is activated. Without any of these parts, the system couldn’t function as a clean-agent or other special-hazard suppression setup.
